New IDin Self-Portraits on 3/29/08
SamsonI felt the moon rise and sink above me. I could feel the pale silver light dance across my form, but there was nothing to do, but sit and feel. And listen. Listen to the crickets chirping late at night, and the birds singing in the morning. Listen to my cat purr as it sat benignly in my lap. There was nothing but four senses to trust now. I had lost my sight at an early age. I couldn’t say that I missed it much. The few memories I had of color have faded, or blurred together. The one memory I have left is of my mothers face. She's a lovely woman. She has full red lips, and these eyes that could burn into your soul.Samson
